Finley Named PSUAC Runner Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine freshman John Finley (West Chester, Pa./Regina Luminis Academy) was selected as the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Tuesday.

Finley ran to an 8K time of 30:31 at the Rowan Border Battle on Saturday, setting a new personal-best time. He bested his previous personal record, set two weeks earlier, by 2:13.

Finley has been Brandywine's top runner at all four meets this fall. He has recorded three top-30 finishes, including a 17th-place showing at Bryn Mawr's Dan Talbot 8K Invitational on Sept. 29.

Brandywine runs at Lincoln University on Thursday at 3:30 PM.
