Four Lions Named To USCAA Basketball National Academic Team

MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- For the seconds-straight year, four Penn State Brandywine women's basketball players have earned a spot on the USCAA National All-Academic Team. Seniors Lauren Munro (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro), Jessy Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) and Jilly Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) and sophomore Chrissy Gledhill (Secane, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) were all selected for the academic honor, which was announced earlier in the week.

Munro and Jessy Gledhill both claimed the award for the third consecutive season, while Jilly and Chrissy Gledhill were first-time honorees.

Jessy Gledhill has earned a 3.72 GPA as a human development and family studies major. She produced 909 points during her four-year career and was the team's fourth-leading scorer and rebounder this season.

As an HDFS major, Jilly Gledhill has amassed a GPA of 3.51. She completed her 106-game career this winter with 322 career points and 168 rebounds.

Chrissy Gledhill owns a 3.50 GPA as a human development and family studies major. In 47 games during her first two seasons at Brandywine, Gledhill has produced 137 points and 44 assists.
