Brandywine’s Three-Match Win Streak Ends Against Arcadia

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's tennis team saw its three-match winning streak come to a close Saturday as the Lions dropped a 7-2 decision to visiting Arcadia.

Jason Li (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) was a part of both Brandywine victories during the match, winning at both doubles and singles. He claimed the opening frame of his No. 5 singles bout 6-2 and after being forced to a third set, took the final frame, 10-7.

Li also teamed with Zackery Wall (Washington, D.C./Woodrow Wilson) to win at No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-4.

Wall won the first set of his sixth-flight singles match, but Arcadia's David Cassel rallied to win the final two frames to claim the match.

The Knights claimed the remaining four singles bouts in straight sets.

Brandywine (3-4) continues its four-match homestand Sunday against Rowan-South Jersey at 1:00 PM.
