Elise Pratt Tabbed To Lead Women’s Soccer Program

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine Director of Athletics Sarah Kurpel announced on Thursday that Elise Pratt will lead the Lions' women's soccer program as the team's head coach.

Pratt is a 2017 graduate of Delaware State University where she spent the final two years of her four-year NCAA Division I soccer playing career. After transferring from Stony Brook University, Pratt earned her bachelor degree in mass communications.

"We are grateful to have Coach Pratt take the reigns of our women's soccer program. She brings with her extensive experience in the club soccer circuit that will propel the recruiting of future Penn State graduates, as well as create fun and challenging training sessions for our athletes," said Kurpel.

Since 2017, Pratt has been a coach with Prestige Soccer Training. During that time she has led her teams to a tournament championship and two runner-up finishes in New Jersey. In addition to on-field coaching, Pratt is responsible for creating and organizing practice plans, while also mentoring and helping with player growth.

Pratt began her coaching career with the Long Island Junior Soccer League in 2013. She has also served as a club coach in the Delaware Youth Soccer Association and Highland Youth Soccer Club. Currently, Pratt also works as a speed and agility trainer at Kidzercise Fitness Center.
