MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior guard Pat Gallagher (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

In two games, Gallagher averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists last week. Four days later, Gallagher tallied his fifth 20-point game and third five-steal game of the season against Penn State Hazleton.

Gallagher has started all 19 games for the Lions this winter and ranks eighth in the PSUAC in scoring at 16.4 points per outing. His 77 assists and 41 steals are both the fifth-highest totals in the league and team-best marks. He also ranks third on the team, pulling down 5.1 rebounds per game.

Brandywine is on the road at Penn State Lehigh Valley Tuesday night beginning at 8:00 pm.
