Women’s Soccer Releases 2019 Schedule

MEDIA, Pa. -- Second-year Head Coach Elise Pratt released Penn State Brandywine's 2019 women's soccer schedule on Monday.

The schedule features a total of 17 regular-season games, with nine home matches and six Penn State University Athletic Conference contests on the slate. The Lions are coming off a 13-win 2018 season in which they won their third-straight PSUAC championship and reached the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship game for the first time.

COMPLETE 2019 SCHEDULE

Here are some of the highlights from the 2019 Penn State Brandywine women's soccer schedule:

Aug. 30: Brandywine opens the season at Rowan, a perennial NCAA Division III powerhouse. The Profs have reached the NCAA Tournament in four-straight seasons and 14 times overall since 1999.

Sept. 6-14: Brandywine plays four-straight home non-conference matches, its longest home stand of the season, with the final three matches coming against Division III foes. The Lions face Ursinus (Sept. 11) for the second-straight year and will match up with Christendom (Sept. 6), Bryn Mawr (Sept. 8) and New Jersey City (Sept. 14) for the first time in the team's five-year history during the home stand.

Sept. 21: The Lions travel to Penn State Mont Alto for their PSUAC opener. Brandywine will bring a 28-game (27-0-1) unbeaten streak against conference opponents into the match. Brandywine has gone undefeated in conference play each of the last three years en route to winning a conference championship each of those seasons.

Oct. 9: Brandywine is on the road at Penn State Hazleton in a rematch of the 2018 PSUAC Championship match. The Lions scored five times in the second half to win the game going away, 7-2.
