MEDIA, Pa. -- Emily Bush (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) recorded her second shutout and Brianna Banks (Philadelphia, Pa./Parkway Center) accounted for the match's lone goal as the Penn State Brandywine women's soccer team defeated Gwynedd Mercy 1-0 on Saturday.

Bush needed to make 13 saves to record the clean sheet. Nine of those stops came during the first half as Brandyiwne was outshot 9-3, but held a 1-0 edge following Banks' 24th goal of the season. Bush needed to make four more stops, all during the first 25 minutes of the second half, to preserve the Lions' fourth win of the year.

Banks netted her goal at the 27:28 mark of the first half, giving her a goal in seven consecutive games. She tallied three of the Lions' seven shots on goal.

Gwynedd Mercy held a 13-7 edge in shots and received six saves from goalkeeper Emily McCullough.
