Brandywine Baseball Inks Anthony Georgette

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine baseball team announced that it has signed Anthony Georgette to its 2020 recruiting class.

Georgette comes to Brandywine from Octorara High School where he was a four-year varsity member of the baseball team and a three-year starter. He also played three years for Elite Baseball in Lancaster.

The 2019 recipient of the Lancaster League Sportsmanship Award, Georgette also earned the Volunteer Service Award from Octorara.

Georgette chose to attend Penn State Brandywine "because of the feeling of family. From hearing current athletes speak and Coach Gallo tell me about the family aspect of the team, it made my decision easy."

Brandywine will enter its fifth season under Head Coach Vinny Gallo in 2020-21 and has made seven-straight postseason appearances overall.
