Cheyenne Murphy (Boothwyn, Pa./Chichester) added an RBI triple and scored on a throwing error.

After Beaver scored twice in the second, Brandywine tacked on three more runs during the bottom half of the frame as Gannon doubled and scored on an error and Katie DeStefano (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) followed with a two-run single.

Dellavecchio registered a double that plated two more runs in the third and Julia Allman (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) added a run-scoring single, helping Brandywine pull away from Beaver.

DeStefano and Gannon both recorded two hits, while Dellavecchio, Foeldes, Murphy and Katy Steffen (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) all scored two runs.

Danielle Spina (Thornton, Pa./Garnet Valley) picked up her ninth win of the season after striking out two and allowing four runs (three earned) in 5.0 innings.

Beaver plated the first run of game two, but Brandywine answered with three second inning runs and poured in on in the third, scoring 12 times.

Murphy and Foeldes drove in runs in the second, while Lauryn Geduldick (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) got the third inning started with a single that plated two and later doubled home Steffen. Alexa Iacono (Wilmington, Del./Concord) pushed three more runs across with a base hit and Allman, Gannon and Spina all recorded RBI singles.

DeStefano fanned seven and allowed just one run on six hits in 5.0 innings to improve to 7-4. Geduldick registered two hits, three RBI and three runs scored, while Murphy and Iacono both tallied two hits. Steffen scored three runs and Dellavecchio recorded three steals.
