MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine junior Sullivan Stark (Middletown, Del./William Penn) was named setter of the week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association, while senior Nikki Poissant (Aston, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) earned the conference's player of the week award on Tuesday.

Stark, who was also named PSUAC Setter of the Week on Sept. 12, helped Brandywine to a 3-1 week by dealing out 111 assists, averaging nearly 10 assists per set. She set a season high with 39 helpers in a sweep of Penn State Mont Alto and also reached the 30-assist mark in a 3-0 victory over Bryn Athyn on Monday. In addition, Stark contributed seven kills, 13 digs and five blocks.

Through 10 matches, Stark has totaled a PSUAC-leading 250 assists and is averaging over eight assists per set. Nationally, she ranks 12th in total helpers and sixth in assists per set.

Poissant also previously claimed weekly honors from the PSUAC on Sept. 12 and is now a five-time PSUAC Player of the Week during her career.

Last week, she totaled 41 kills, 30 digs and eight service aces. Poissant matched a season high with 18 kills against Bryn Athyn and added 10 kills in a straight-set victory over Penn State Lehigh Valley. She also reached double figures in digs at Penn State Mont Alto in a 3-0 win.

Poissant led the conference in kills as a junior is on pace to do so again this fall as she leads the PSUAC with 107 kills, 30 more than her closest competitor. She also ranks third in hitting percentage and digs and fourth in aces in the PSUAC.

Brandywine will look to earn its third-straight conference victory on Wednesday night at Penn State Schuylkill beginning at 7:00 PM.
