Baseball Class of 2028: Gianni Serenelli

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine baseball team has added to its incoming class by signing Gianni Serenelli.

Serenelli played three years of varsity baseball at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, leading the team to a District 12A championship and third place in the Philadelphia Catholic League. He also played American Legion baseball for Fall Post 834, winning Lower Bucks County and Region III championships in 2022 and 2023.

Serenelli chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I graduated from a small Catholic high school with a total graduating class of 142 students. I was also looking for a college with a similar environment to my high school with a great reputation, like a family. I believe I found that in Penn State Brandywine. Something else very important to me was becoming a student-athlete. When I first spoke with Coach Gallo, he said something that particularly stood out to me. He told me he was looking for someone who would work hard. That is when I knew Brandywine was the place for me. I am looking forward to becoming an incoming freshman, class of 2028."
