Kyle Reuter Selected To Academic All-Area Team
MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine's Kyle Reuter (York, Pa./Dallastown Area), a junior men's soccer student-athlete, was selected to the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Team on Monday.
A business major, Reuter owns a 3.70 grade-point average. He is a two-time PSUAC All-Academic Team honoree and was named to the USCAA National Academic Team earlier this fall.
On the field, Reuter was a USCAA Second Team All-American and PSUAC First Team All-Conference award winner as one of the Lions' starting center backs. Reuter made 20 appearances, including 19 starts, helping Brandywine produce a USCAA-best 15 shutouts. Offensively, he contributed eight assists, tying for fifth-most on the team.
During the last two seasons, Reuter has competed in 30 matches for Brandywine, recording two goals and 17 assists. He helped Brandywine claim the 2021 USCAA national championship and consecutive conference titles in 2022 and 2021.
Reuter was one of 13 men's soccer players from the more than 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area selected. To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or greater and be in at least their second season of competition at their institution, while also succeeding athletically.
