UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Brandywine freshman Payton Landis (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) earned the Penn State University Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week award for the second-straight week on Tuesday.

Landis had two hits during each of Brandywine's final four games in Florida during Spring Break last week, going 8-for-9 at the plate during that time. She reached base in 12-of-13 plate appearances overall after also working three walks.

During Brandywine's final three games of the week, Landis homered in each contest and drove in a total of six runs, while scoring four.

Through the season's first two weeks, Landis was leading the PSUAC with three home runs and tied for the league lead in RBI with 10. She owned a .552 batting average, good for third in the PSUAC, as she had tallied six multi-hit efforts in 11 games.
