Softball Signs Transfer Hayley Coale

MEDIA, Pa. -- Hayley Coale will continue her education and softball career at Penn State Brandywine after signing with the Lions' softball team.

Coale played two seasons at Lackawanna College from 2018-19, producing a .379 batting average with three home runs and 25 RBI in 42 games. 

Prior to enrolling at Lackawanna, Coale was a four-sport standout at Chichester High School, earning varsity letters in softball, soccer, basketball and swimming. A softball team captain, Coale led Chichester to an appearance in the state tournament, while receiving the Sportsmanship Award and Coach's Award. 

Coale was team MVP while playing for the Delco Diamonds and Fireballs during her travel career. She also represented Delaware County while competing in the Carpenter Cup. 

Brandywine's softball newcomers now include Coale, Haley Cisco, Meghan Ferry, Sarah Moore, Jacie Sparacino and Jennie VanSciver.
