Manarpaac Earns Goalkeeper Of The Week Honors
MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine sophomore Will Manarpaac (Boerne, Texas/Samuel V. Champion) was named Goalkeeper of the Week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association on Wednesday.
Manarpaac produced a pair of shutouts against PSUAC competition last week, stopping a total of three shots in wins over Penn State Scranton and Penn State Mont Alto. Manarpaac's one save against Scranton came on a penalty kick late in the game to preserve the shutout.
Manarpaac has made 10 appearances, including six starts, this fall. He has stopped all 13 shots hes faced in more than 655 minutes in net, while owning a 6-0 record.
Brandywine, the No. 1 seed in the PSUAC Tournament, hosts a PSUAC semifinal Saturday at 2:00 PM.
