Reuter Repeats As Academic All-Area Selection

MEDIA, Pa. -- For the second-straight year, Penn State Brandywine senior Kyle Reuter (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) was named to the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Men's Soccer Team on Tuesday.

Reuter was one of 12 honorees on the academic all-area team. To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and possess a grade-point average of 3.30 or better. Nominees are voted on by the 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area.

A business major, Reuter is set to graduate from Brandywine this spring. He owns a 3.55 GPA.

Earlier this fall, Reuter earned his third United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Academic Team award. He is also a two-time Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic selection and received Academic All-District laurels from College Sports Communications last spring. Additionaly, Reuter was Brandywine's recipient of the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award from the PSUAC at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

On the field, Reuter garnered Second Team All-PSUAC honors this fall. He tied for the USCAA lead by tallying 11 assists and added two goals for 15 total points, while helping Brandywine capture its seventh-straight conference championship.

During his 51-match career, Reuter totaled four goals, 28 assists and 36 points. He is a two-time All-PSUAC standout and claimed Second Team All-American laurels from the USCAA in 2022.
