Men’s Soccer Draws No. 3 Seed In USCAA Tournament

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine will be the No. 3 seed when the six-team United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Tournament begins on Friday, November 17.

Brandywine, winner of 13-straight games, will compete at the USCAA Tournament for the seventh-straight season and ninth time overall. The Lions have captured USCAA National Championships in 2018 and 2021.

The USCAA Tournament is composed of two, three-team pools. In addition to Brandywine, Pool B features second-ranked Berkeley (N.J.) and sixth-ranked Cincinnati-Clermont.

Brandywine will open the tournament Saturday at 3:30 PM against the loser of Friday's Berkeley-Clermont game and will then turn around and play the winner of that matchup less than 24 hours later on Sunday at noon.

Brandywine has faced Berkeley five times, earning a pair of victories. The most recent meeting between the teams came during the 2021 USCAA Tournament, a 3-2 Brandywine triumph. Brandywine will meet Cincinnati-Clermont for the first time in history.

Pool winners will play for the national championship on Monday, Nov. 20 at 1:00 PM at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. Pool A features No. 1 Johnson & Wales-Charlotte, No. 4 Central Maine and No. 5 Five Towns.
