Biondi Earns Second-Straight Setter Of The Week Award
MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- For the second consecutive week, Penn State Brandywine senior Miranda Biondi (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown) has been selected as the PSUAC Setter of the Week.
During a 1-1 week for the Lions, Biondi collected 48 assists, including a season-high 31 in a victory over Bryn Athyn, along with 15 digs and six aces.
Through three matches this season, Biondi leads the PSUAC in assists per set (6.6). She has totaled 66 assists, 15 digs and six aces, ranking in the top 20 in the conference in each category.
Brandywine (2-1) begins league play Wednesday night when it hosts Penn State York at 7:30 pm.
