Sesay Nets Five; Lions Rout Wilkes-Barre 9-1

MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- Junior Nabieu Sesay netted five goals as the Penn State-Brandywine men's soccer team rolled to a 9-1 victory over Penn State-Wilkes Barre on Friday afternoon.

Sesay scored a pair of goals off feeds from sophomore Bill Walleekendeh during the first 11 minutes of the game, giving Brandywine a 2-0 lead.

Manny Weldmicael tacked on a third score at the 19:11 mark and Walleekendeh found the back of the net just 85 seconds later to make the score 4-0. Sesay added two more goals during the first half as Brandywine entered the break with a 7-0 edge.

After Wilkes-Barre got on the scoreboard during the 57th minute, Nicholas Abhulimen netted his first goal of the year just six minutes later to push the lead back to seven. Sesay capped the scoring in the 69th minute.

Brandywine collected 24 shots on goal, including seven off the foot of Sesay, while limiting Wilkes-Barre to four shots on goal. Senior goakeeper Nick Previti made three saves to earn his first victory of the season and Patrick Lutes aided the offense with a pair of assists.

Elizabeth Keegan stopped 15 shots during 90 minutes in net to lead Wilkes Barre.
