Previti And Walleekendeh Sweep PSUAC Weekly Awards

MEDIA, Pennsylvania -- Penn State Brandywine senior Nick Previti (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) and sophomore Bill Walleekendeh (Chester, Pa./Chester) both earned PSUAC weekly awards on Thursday. Walleekendeh was selected as the player of the week, while Previti was tabbed as the goalkeeper of the week for the second time this season.

Previti helped Brandywine to 4-1, conference victory over Penn State Hazleton by stopping five of the six shots he faced during his only action of the week. Previti owns five victories this fall along with a 2.34 goals-against average and a team-high 39 saves.

Walleekendeh produced eight goals in two games, tallying three against Hazleton and adding five Saturday during an 11-1 triumph over Penn State Schuylkill. The team's leader in goals, Walleekendeh has found the back of the net 15 times, along with four assists, for 34 points this season.

Brandywine hosts the University of Valley Forge on Sunday at 2:00 pm. The Lions will honor their five-man senior class prior to the game.
