Weldemicael Earns PSUAC Men’s Soccer Player Of The Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania -- Penn State Brandywine junior midfielder Manny Weldemicael (Philadelphia, Pa./Wyoming Park) was selected as the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Weldemicael recorded three goals and seven total points, setting career highs in both categories, during a 10-1 victory over Penn State Worthington-Scranton on Thursday, the lone match of the week for the Lions (6-6, 5-0 PSUAC).

A 2013 USCAA Academic All-American, Weldemicael six goals and team-best three assists for 15 points this season. He is tied for 42nd nationally in scoring.

Brandywine hosts Berkeley (N.J.) in a non-conference match on Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
