Adams Named PSUAC Pitcher Of The Week

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine sophomore Greg Adams (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) was named Pitcher of the Week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

Making his second start and sixth appearance on the mound this spring, Adams earned his second victory by tossing a complete game in a win over Penn State Scranton last Tuesday. He set a career high with eight strikeouts, while limiting Scranton to two runs on five hits over seven innings of work.

For the season, Adams' two victories are tied for second on the team as he also earned a win during a relief appearance in Florida after firing two scoreless innings against Wentworth. He has totaled 16 strikeouts during 19.2 innings pitched.

Brandywine (13-11, 7-2 PSUAC) opens a three-game series with Penn State Schuylkill Thursday at 5:30 PM at Maple Zone.
