Barrouk Lands PSUAC Player Of The Week Selection

MEDIA, Pa. -- Senior Bryce Barrouk (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) was tabbed as the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week after helping Penn State Brandywine to a 2-0 weekend.

Barrouk produced a pair of double-doubles in road triumphs at Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Shenango. He amassed 20 points and 10 boards at New Kensington before totaling 25 points and a season-best 16 rebounds against Shenango.

Barrouk, who has scored at least 20 points in eight of the Lions' nine conference games, averaged 22.5 points on 50 percent shooting, along with 13.0 rebounds per game last week.

In 15 games this season, Barrouk averages 20.6 points, good for second in the PSUAC, and 9.8 rebounds, the fourth-highest mark in the league. The second-leading scorer in Brandywine history, Barrouk has totaled 1,548 points in 94 career games.

Brandywine (8-7, 7-2 PSUAC) looks for its seventh-straight conference win Wednesday when the Lions host Penn State Hazleton at 8:00 PM.
