Barrouk Receives Third Player Of The Week Honor

MEDIA, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine senior Bryce Barrouk (Glen Mills, Pa./Rustin) was selected as the player of the week for the third time this season, earning honors from the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

Barrouk helped Brandywine earn its 10th-straight conference victory, a 67-56 triumph over Penn State Scranton on Saturday. He notched 25 points and a season-best 19 rebounds during 34 minutes of action.

Barrouk scored 15 of Brandywine's 27 second-half points en route to producing his 10th 20-point game in 13 outings against PSUAC foes this winter. The conference's second-leading scorer, Barrouk is averaging 20.4 points through 19 games.

His 19 rebounds were one off his career high set during last season's conference championship game and two shy of Brandywine's single-game program record. He produced his 11th double-double of the season and is now averaging 10.3 boards per game, good for third in the PSUAC.

Brandywine (12-7, 11-2 PSUAC) is on the road Wednesday at Penn State Hazleton at 7:00 PM.
