Brandywine Softball Signs Gianna Terpolilli

MEDIA, Pa. – Penn State Brandywine softball announced the first signing of its 2021 class as Gianna Terpolilli signed with the Lions and will join the team this fall.

Terpolilli, a New Jersey native, played four years of varsity softball at Our Lady of Mercy Academy and was selected as the school's athlete of the month in April 2019. She also played one year of volleyball and one season of field hockey.

Academically, Terpolilli was a member of the National Honors Society and named to the Dean's List following each semester of her junior and senior years. She also earned Principal's List recognition as a freshman and sophomore.

Terpolilli said she chose to attend Penn State Brandywine because "I absolutely love the area and the small campus! I've always grown up going to small schools and I love the idea of being a student to your professors rather than just a number. I also am so excited to be close to home so my family is able to easily come see my games!"

Brandywine softball won its sixth-straight conference championship in 2021, while finishing the season with a 20-7 record.
