Men's Soccer Welcomes Alexis Cordova-Bernal

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team welcomed Alexis Cordova-Bernal to its incoming recruiting class recently.

Cordova-Bernal played four seasons of soccer, earning three varsity letters, at Avon Grove High School. A Second-Team All-Ches-Mont honoree, Cordova-Bernal also competed in three seasons of volleyball and captained both the soccer and volleyball squads.

Cordova-Bernal chose Penn State Brandywine because "of the endless opportunities offered, both in the classroom and outside the classroom. I also choose Penn State because all the staff, admissions, coaches and athletic recruiters have been very welcoming and have made me feel like home since the beginning. I chose Penn State Brandywine because I will be giving the opportunity to play the sport I love, but at the same time be successful in the classroom."
