PSUAC Selects DeBooth As Defender Of The Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Brandywine freshman Elijah DeBooth (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) was tabbed as the men's soccer defender of the week by the Penn State University Athletic Conference on Tuesday.

DeBooth made two scoreless appearances last week, including a 110-minute shutout of Thiel College during a scoreless draw on Sunday. He made three saves: two at Thiel, and one Thursday night during the second half of the Lions' match at Albright.

Entering Tuesday's match versus Penn State York, DeBooth owns a shutout streak of 358:38. He has not allowed a goal during his last five appearances in net.

Among PSUAC goalkeepers, DeBooth ranks second with a 0.47 goals-against average and third in save percentage (.833). He owns a 2-0-1 record and has one shutout, while combining on two more.
